Mr. Lif is a Boston rapper noted for his political lyrics. He is also a member of the hip hop group The Perceptionists with long-time friends Akrobatik and DJ Fakts One. Mr. Lif has also collaborated with many artists such as EL-P (Run The Jewels), Thievery Corporation, Jedi Mind Tricks, DJ Krush, Aesop Rock and others.

In 2000 and 2001 Mr. Lif won the Kahlua Boston Music Awards for Outstanding Rap/Hip Hop Act and he has released albums with labels such as Definitive Jux and Mellow Music Group. 

Mr. Lif is featured on the track “Stretch” of DJ Booker & MC Yinka.
